The traffic expands our line range and responds to our customer\u2019s growing interest in vehicle and rolling cargo transport.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new call has been launched following a variety of other contracts with major European vehicle manufacturers to complement UECC\u2019s existing Atlantic service linking Scandinavia with Northern Spain.<\/p>\n<p>With UECC vessels calling at the rail connected vehicle and ro-ro-terminal at the Port of Gothenburg, the new service aims to enhance connection within the entire Swedish market.<\/p>\n<p>UECC has announced that the new loop will initially be operated by the M\/V Minchah vessel but will probably be replaced by one of the company\u2019s LNG \/ battery hybrid vessels currently in production.<\/p>\n<p>Turning to the container sector,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.porttechnology.org\/news\/port-of-gothenburg-continues-to-increase-market-share\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Swedish port handled a total of 828,000 TEU in 2021 and grew further in relation to other ports in Europe<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With UECC vessels calling at the rail connected vehicle and ro-ro-terminal at the Port the new service aims to enhance connection within the entire Swedish market Shipping line&nbsp;United European Car Carriers&nbsp;(UECC) has commenced operations in the&nbsp;Port of Gothenburg&nbsp;to enhance its traffic connections in Northern Europe.
