The Spanish company says it is estimated to reinforce Navantia\u2019s commitment to its UK industrial partners in shipbuilding and the offshore wind energy sector.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"article-title\">UK offshore wind energy prospects<\/h2>\n<p>Navantia UK is advancing Navantia\u2019s support of the UK National Shipbuilding Strategy and ten point plan for a green industrial revolution. Navantia UK\u2019s activities will rely on partnerships with local industries across the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>The UK subsidiary will be well placed to collaborate with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.innovationnewsnetwork.com\/uk-invests-160m-to-upgrade-offshore-wind-energy-infrastructure\/7316\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>UK industry<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;to explore the promising opportunities that exist in the UK offshore wind energy sector.<\/p>\n<p>Offshore wind energy is the use of wind farms that are constructed in bodies of water, usually in the ocean on the continental shelf, in order to harvest wind energy to generate renewable electricity.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2014, Navantia has taken part in the construction of the \u2018East Anglia One\u2019, \u2018Hywind Scotland\u2019, \u2018Moray East\u2019 and \u2018Kincardine\u2019 wind farms in the United Kingdom, manufacturing both fixed and floating foundations and substations for clients such as EDPR, Scottish Power and Cobra.<\/p>\n<p>Navantia has also recently launched Navantia Seanergies, which was created with the aim of promoting its activity related to green energies, focused on offshore wind energy and hydrogen, both nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n<p>The United Kingdom is one of the world\u2019s leading countries in the development and use of offshore wind energy, making it a promising market for Navantia Seanergies.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Spanish company says it is estimated to reinforce Navantia\u2019s commitment to its UK industrial partners in shipbuilding and the offshore wind energy sector Navantia&nbsp;has announced it has set up Navantia UK, a subsidiary company in the United Kingdom.
