An event that is an integral part of the Wecasablanca attractiveness approach, has proven during this unprecedented edition the importance of sharing experiences and group reflection, in the process of developing the Smart City<\/em><\/p>\n

This edition organized under the theme \u201cSmart City at the service of resilience and territorial regeneration\u201d was marked by its hybrid format which attracted more than 80,000 visitors to the event’s website and more than 700 participants via the platform broadcast.<\/p>\n

55 speakers from 12 countries (Morocco, Cameroon, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, United Kingdom, Ireland, USA, India, Bangladesh) took part in 9 plenary sessions and workshops scheduled around social innovation, regeneration urban, territorial planning, and management, digital transformation and the resilience of urban services.<\/p>\n

A rich and high-quality program with, on the one hand, the remarkable participation of Moroccan speakers such as Lamia Benmakhlouf, General Manager of the Moroccan Information Technopark Company, Mehdi Alaoui, Vice-President of APEBI, President of the Hack & Association. Pitch, founder of La Startup Factory, Monceyf Fadili, an international expert in urban planning and territorial development and former UN-Habitat Advisor; and on the other hand eminent international experts such as Piero Scaruffi, President of the Institute for Research in Artificial Intelligence of Silicon Valley, Tridib Banerjee, Emeritus Professor of Public Policy at the University of Southern California, Saifur Rahman, Founding Director of the Advanced Research Institute at Virginia Tech and Life Member of the IEEE.<\/p>\n

Smart City Casablanca Symposium was a perfect example of a Smart city project illustrating the collective intelligence of the living forces of the territory thanks to the participation and support of strategic institutional partners such as the way of the Region of Casablanca Settat, the General Directorate of Collectivities Territorial and the city of Casablanca, as well as the involvement of the scientific committee led by: The Mohammed VI Polytechnic University and the Hassan II University of Casablanca and the media partners who ensured a strong influence and great visibility to the event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
