TIS \u2013 Tourism Innovation Summit<\/strong><\/a> ha vuelto a tener protagonismo en FITUR con la presentaci\u00f3n oficial de su quinta edici\u00f3n, que tendr\u00e1 lugar del 23 al 25 de octubre de 2024 en la ciudad de Sevilla<\/strong>. Tres intensas jornadas en las que todos los agentes y eslabones del sector tur\u00edstico se dan cita para conocer las soluciones m\u00e1s innovadoras y encontrar el mejor partner tecnol\u00f3gico para impulsar la competitividad de las empresas tur\u00edsticas, sus procesos y experiencia del viajero a trav\u00e9s de innovaciones digitales y de impacto en sostenibilidad.<\/p>\n

Consolidada como una referencia internacional, TIS confirma sus fechas y celebraci\u00f3n de su pr\u00f3xima edici\u00f3n en Sevilla bajo el lema \u2018Elevating travel industry with tech\u2019,<\/strong> dando un paso m\u00e1s en lo desarrollado hasta ahora. En este sentido, Silvia Avil\u00e9s<\/strong>, directora de TIS, ha afirmado que \u201cSevilla se volver\u00e1 a convertir en la capital mundial de innovaci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica. Esta pr\u00f3xima edici\u00f3n ser\u00e1 un revulsivo para facilitar las herramientas que nos ayuden a mejorar nuestros procesos, a hacer frente a los desaf\u00edos actuales de gesti\u00f3n y promoci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como a compartir casos de \u00e9xito y iniciativas pr\u00e1cticas de innovaci\u00f3n y sostenibilidad en la industria tur\u00edstica con un vector com\u00fan como la tecnolog\u00eda como palanca facilitadora\u201d.<\/p>\n

Todo ello en un momento muy bueno para el sector tur\u00edstico, que en 2023 ha vivido en nuestro pa\u00eds cifras r\u00e9cord que no se conoc\u00edan, ni siquiera, antes de la pandemia. Seg\u00fan el Ministerio de Industria y Turismo, Espa\u00f1a recibi\u00f3 el pasado a\u00f1o m\u00e1s de 84 millones de turistas con un gasto de m\u00e1s de 108.000 millones de euros. En t\u00e9rminos globales, se estima la industria de los viajes y el turismo crezca este a\u00f1o un 16%.<\/p>\n

La directora de TIS tambi\u00e9n ha adelantado que \u201cen 2024 el pa\u00eds invitado ser\u00e1 China, un mercado muy importante para nosotros. Queremos saber tambi\u00e9n c\u00f3mo est\u00e1n innovando all\u00ed, qu\u00e9 est\u00e1n pidiendo los viajeros, c\u00f3mo se est\u00e1 comunicando a nivel de tecnolog\u00edas y de marketing, para entender c\u00f3mo entrar en mercados asi\u00e1ticos de la manera m\u00e1s efectiva y diferencial posible. Las empresas europeas que quieran abrir o atraer al mercado chino tienen que entender c\u00f3mo se est\u00e1 haciendo todo esto all\u00ed y c\u00f3mo se est\u00e1 impactando para atraer este tipo de turismo\u201d.<\/p>\n

Sevilla y Andaluc\u00eda, volcadas con TIS<\/h2>\n

Francisco Montes<\/strong>, director General de Turismo de la Junta de Andaluc\u00eda, ha asegurado durante la presentaci\u00f3n que el apoyo a TIS por parte de la Junta de Andaluc\u00eda es total y en gran parte es por su contenido: \u201cEs un foro de intercambio y transferencia de conocimiento que se apoya en dos pilares como son la innovaci\u00f3n y la sostenibilidad\u201d. Todo ello con el objetivo compartido entre TIS y la Junta de Andaluc\u00eda de lograr \u201cun turismo sostenible en el \u00e1mbito econ\u00f3mico, medioambiental, pero tambi\u00e9n social\u201d.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Angie Moreno<\/strong>, concejal delegadade Turismo del Ayuntamiento de Sevilla, ha querido destacar \u201cla repercusi\u00f3n que tiene sobre la ciudad. La celebraci\u00f3n del TIS supone un impacto econ\u00f3mico de m\u00e1s de 20 millones de euros para Sevilla. Al final es un evento que nos permite debatir sobre el impacto de la IA y sobre c\u00f3mo llevar a cabo un turismo sostenible y de calidad que es el que queremos todos los destinos\u201d.<\/p>\n

TIS 2023, todo un \u00e9xito sin precedentes<\/h2>\n

La cuarta edici\u00f3n de TIS celebrada en 2023 convirti\u00f3 a Sevilla en el epicentro del sector tur\u00edstico mundial, algo que qued\u00f3 reflejado con la presencia de 200 firmas l\u00edderes innovadoras<\/strong> como Accenture, Amadeus, CitySightseeing Worldwide, Eurecat, Mabrian, Telef\u00f3nica, CaixaBank, PastView, T-Systems, Turijobs, UnBlock y Why Tenerife. Adem\u00e1s, TIS cont\u00f3 en 2023 con la participaci\u00f3n de 43 delegaciones internacionales<\/strong> provenientes de pa\u00edses como M\u00e9xico, Ecuador, Francia, Portugal, Turqu\u00eda, Estados Unidos, China, Sud\u00e1frica, Noruega, Reino Unido, Francia, Italia, Grecia, Noruega, Canad\u00e1, Argentina o Eslovenia. M\u00e1s de 400 expertos de la industria tur\u00edstica <\/strong>y cerca de 7.400 congresistas <\/strong>se dieron cita en la capital andaluza, unas cifras que se espera superar en 2024, certificando el \u00e9xito de este foro.<\/p>\n
