Es a nivel mundial. Est\u00e1n ca\u00eddas las principales aerol\u00edneas del mundo, as\u00ed como todo tipo de grandes empresas que trabajan con Windows como bancos o sistemas de emergencia. El motivo es una incidencia con CrowdStrike, una de las principales plataformas de ciberseguridad en la nube<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.crowdstrike.com\/es-es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CrowdStrike<\/a>\u00a0fue fundada en 2011 por George Kurtz (ex-CTO de McAfee) y se ha convertido en una de las firmas de ciberseguridad m\u00e1s utilizadas del mundo, con m\u00e1s de 29.000 clientes. CrowdStrike tiene su sede en Texas y entre sus hitos destaca la detecci\u00f3n del\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.xataka.com\/aplicaciones\/si-hay-un-ciberataque-que-merece-ser-llamado-de-pelicula-ese-es-el-sufrido-por-sony-pictures\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hackeo a Sony Pictures en 2014<\/a>\u00a0o los\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.xataka.com\/magnet\/las-herramientas-han-cambiado-las-claves-del-hackeo-al-partido-democrata-de-eeuu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ciberataques al partido Dem\u00f3crata<\/a>\u00a0entre 2015 y 2016.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"article-title\">Qu\u00e9 es CrowdStrike y qu\u00e9 relaci\u00f3n tiene con la nube de Microsoft<\/h2>\n<p>Su funci\u00f3n es la de detectar y prevenir posibles ciberataques. Para evitar da\u00f1os cr\u00edticos a las empresas con las que trabaja. Una de las compa\u00f1\u00edas que trabaja con CrowdStrike es precisamente Microsoft, quien ha confirmado que la incidencia con sus plataformas es debido a un problema con CrowdStrike.<\/p>\n<p>La incidencia de CrowdStrike est\u00e1 relacionada con una de sus principales herramientas:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.crowdstrike.com\/platform\/cloud-security\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security.<\/a>\u00a0Se trata de una soluci\u00f3n para \u00abdetener las infracciones en la nube\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Falcon es uno de los sistemas de protecci\u00f3n para Windows. En el momento en que Falcon falla, los sistemas con Azure y Windows no pueden asegurar la seguridad del sistema y por ello se paraliza el sistema para evitar posibles da\u00f1os. Desde CrowdStrike enviaron una actualizaci\u00f3n de controladores de Falcon con problemas. Azure\u00a0no reconoci\u00f3\u00a0esta actualizaci\u00f3n y ha provocado la aparici\u00f3n de pantallazos azul en millones de sistemas y empresas.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/technology\/frontier-says-operations-impacted-by-microsoft-outage-2024-07-19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">explica Reuters,<\/a>\u00a0la incidencia est\u00e1 afectando a empresas que utilizan la plataforma de Azure. Tambi\u00e9n se han detectado problemas con servicios relacionados con Microsoft 365.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"article-title\">Corrigiendo la incidencia<\/h2>\n<p>Seg\u00fan ha\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/crowdstrike\/comments\/1e6vmkf\/bsod_error_in_latest_crowdstrike_update\/?rdt=55819&amp;onetap_auto=true&amp;one_tap=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">publicado el usuario BradW-CS<\/a>, de la comunidad de Reddit de CrowdStrike, se est\u00e1n investigando las causas de este problema. \u00abTenemos informes generalizados de BSOD en hosts de Windows\u201d, explican, indicando que a los afectados les est\u00e1 apareciendo la\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.xataka.com\/basics\/pantalla-azul-windows-que-que-te-aparece-como-solucionarlo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pantalla azul de la muerte de Windows.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"article-title\">Pantallazo Azul<\/h2>\n<p>Seg\u00fan esa misma informaci\u00f3n, los trabajadores de CrowdStrike est\u00e1n viendo que sus servidores est\u00e1n ca\u00eddos y est\u00e1n teniendo tambi\u00e9n estas pantallas de error. Unas pantallas que aparecen cuando se detecta un problema cr\u00edtico. El problema de CrowdStrike\u00a0ya ha sido identificado\u00a0y se han revertido los cambios que provocan la incidencia, seg\u00fan informa el usuario BradW-CS.<\/p>\n<p>Brody Nisbet, responsable de seguridad de CrowdStrike,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/brody_n77\/status\/1814185935476863321\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ha confirmado<\/a>\u00a0que el problema ha sido identificado, aunque no solucionado. Mientras tanto, recomienda que se recuperen los sistemas mediante el\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.xataka.com\/basics\/modo-seguro-windows-11-que-como-iniciarlo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">modo seguro de Windows<\/a>\u00a0y eliminando el archivo\u00a0C-00000291*.sys.<\/p>\n<p>Tras reiniciar deber\u00edan poder recuperarse los sistemas, explica el empleado de CrowdStrike. Si bien apunta que \u00abesta soluci\u00f3n no ayudar\u00e1 a todos y no tengo m\u00e1s ayuda pr\u00e1ctica que brindar en este momento\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Se desconoce por el momento el motivo por el que los sistemas de CrowdStrike se han ca\u00eddo. Si bien,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/crowdstrike\/comments\/18886ac\/bsod_caused_by_csagentsys\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">no es la primera vez que CrowdStrike provoca pantallazos azules<\/a>\u00a0en los sistemas con Windows.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/crowdstrike\/comments\/18886ac\/bsod_caused_by_csagentsys\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">En diciembre de 2023<\/a>\u00a0ya hab\u00edan detectaron errores.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"article-title\">CrowdStrike responde ante la situaci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n<p>CrowdStrike cotiza en el NASDAQ y sus acciones antes de la apertura del mercado est\u00e1n cayendo m\u00e1s de un 20%. Tras varias horas de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.xataka.com\/movilidad\/dia-que-aviacion-puso-pie-a-tierra-crowdstrike-ha-generado-crisis-inedita-aeropuertos-mundiales\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">afectaciones a nivel mundial<\/a>\u00a0en la mayor\u00eda de aeropuertos, el CEO de CrowdStrike, George Kurtz, ha\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/George_Kurtz\/status\/1814235001745027317\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">publicado un mensaje<\/a>\u00a0informando sobre la situaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<p>\u00abCrowdStrike est\u00e1 trabajando activamente con los clientes afectados por un defecto encontrado en una \u00fanica actualizaci\u00f3n de contenido para hosts de Windows. Los hosts Mac y Linux no se ven afectados. Esto no es un incidente de seguridad ni un ciberataque.
