El sistema, destinado a instalaciones de autoconsumo, debe ser altamente eficiente adem\u00e1s de adaptarse a grandes cubiertas planas con una elevada demanda energ\u00e9tica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Los investigadores del\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/mcia.upc.edu\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">grupo MCIA<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0y profesores de la\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/eseiaat.upc.edu\/ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Escuela Superior de Ingenier\u00edas Industrial, Aeroespacial y Audiovisual de Terrassa (ESEIAAT)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/futur.upc.edu\/AlejandroParedesCamacho\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alejandro Paredes<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0y<\/span><b>\u00a0Llu\u00eds Carb\u00f3<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, liderados por el director del MCIA,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/futur.upc.edu\/JoseLuisRomeralMartinez\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Luis Romeral<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, han participado en el proyecto Optima y han logrado\u00a0<\/span><b>mejorar la eficiencia del inversor de potencia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. En una instalaci\u00f3n fotovoltaica, el inversor fotovoltaico es el dispositivo que transforma la corriente continua, que proviene de los paneles fotovoltaicos, en corriente alterna para que pueda utilizarse de forma segura en dispositivos dom\u00e9sticos o industriales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">El nuevo equipamiento desarrollado\u00a0<\/span><b>maximiza la generaci\u00f3n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0el\u00e9ctrica,<\/span><b>\u00a0incorporando los \u00faltimos avances en tecnolog\u00edas fotovoltaica, mec\u00e1nica, electr\u00f3nica y computacional<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><b>aplicadas a la edificaci\u00f3n inteligente<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">El proyecto Optima incluye un prototipo de estaci\u00f3n meteorol\u00f3gica de bajo coste, que proporciona informaci\u00f3n para el seguimiento solar en tiempo real y para el mantenimiento de paneles fotovoltaicos. La integraci\u00f3n del prototipo de inversor con tecnolog\u00eda de semiconductores de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n y alta eficiencia creado por MCIA, junto con algoritmos optimizados de seguimiento solar, permite mejorar el rendimiento energ\u00e9tico del conjunto y monitorizar su estado para prevenir la operaci\u00f3n en condiciones no \u00f3ptimas y, por tanto, menos eficientes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Una de las innovaciones clave ha sido la<\/span><b>\u00a0implementaci\u00f3n en el sistema de potencia de transistores de carburo de silicio (SiC) de alto rendimiento, que se caracterizan por tener una mayor frecuencia de conmutaci\u00f3n y una menor conductividad t\u00e9rmica<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Esta innovaci\u00f3n ha mejorado la eficiencia de la electr\u00f3nica de potencia hasta un 96\u202f%, lo que representa un 4\u202f% por encima de otras tecnolog\u00edas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Y es que el sistema basado en la electr\u00f3nica de potencia desarrollado por el grupo MCIA para el proyecto Optima ha sido adaptado al prototipo de placas fotovoltaicas con paneles bifaciales. Estas placas captan energ\u00eda por ambas caras y se orientan siguiendo la trayectoria del sol, con un sistema electromec\u00e1nico capaz de ajustarse din\u00e1micamente a las sombras que se producen sobre la cubierta en la que se instalan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Adem\u00e1s, el grupo MCIA ha incorporado al inversor una interfaz de comunicaci\u00f3n de tipo Modbus TCP-IP, que act\u00faa como pasarela entre la instalaci\u00f3n fotovoltaica y la red de comunicaciones. La interfaz permite la transmisi\u00f3n de datos en tiempo real hacia la nube y posibilita el control activo de la generaci\u00f3n fotovoltaica instalada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">El proyecto Optima est\u00e1 impulsado por un consorcio liderado por el Instituto de Sistemas Fotovoltaicos de Concentraci\u00f3n (ISFOC), del grupo Instituto de Finanzas de Castilla-La Mancha, promovido y financiado por el Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovaci\u00f3n y Universidades con cerca de 800.000 euros. Adem\u00e1s del grupo MCIA, tambi\u00e9n participan el Instituto de Energ\u00eda Solar de la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid (UPM) y la Fundaci\u00f3n Eurecat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span
