{"id":20747,"date":"2026-01-21T16:21:52","date_gmt":"2026-01-21T15:21:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thesmartcityjournal.cibeles.net\/sin-categorizar\/ursa-iberica-pone-en-marcha-nuevas-instalaciones-fotovoltaicas-en-sus-fabricas-de-xps-y-lana-mineral-de-vidrio\/"},"modified":"2026-01-21T16:23:22","modified_gmt":"2026-01-21T15:23:22","slug":"ursa-iberica-pone-en-marcha-nuevas-instalaciones-fotovoltaicas-en-sus-fabricas-de-xps-y-lana-mineral-de-vidrio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thesmartcityjournal.com\/es\/renovables\/ursa-iberica-pone-en-marcha-nuevas-instalaciones-fotovoltaicas-en-sus-fabricas-de-xps-y-lana-mineral-de-vidrio","title":{"rendered":"URSA Ib\u00e9rica pone en marcha nuevas instalaciones fotovoltaicas en sus f\u00e1bricas de XPS y lana mineral de vidrio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">En total se han instalado m\u00e1s de 6.490 m\u00f3dulos solares que producir\u00e1n m\u00e1s de 5.000 MWh\/a\u00f1o de energ\u00eda renovable<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ursa.es\/es-ES\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><b>URSA<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0ha inaugurado dos instalaciones de autoconsumo fotovoltaico ubicadas en las cubiertas de sus plantas de producci\u00f3n de lana mineral de vidrio y poliestireno extruido (XPS), situadas en El Pla de Santa Maria (Tarragona).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">La puesta en marcha de ambas instalaciones permitir\u00e1 suministrar energ\u00eda renovable para los procesos de fabricaci\u00f3n de materiales aislantes que URSA distribuye a toda la Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica, Francia y otros mercados europeos desde sus f\u00e1bricas espa\u00f1olas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">En total, las cubiertas de las dos f\u00e1bricas cuentan desde hoy con\u00a0<\/span><b>6.490<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0m\u00f3dulos solares, con una potencia instalada de 2.554,74 kWp en la planta de lana mineral de vidrio y 1.209,30 kWp en la de XPS. Estas instalaciones producir\u00e1n anualmente 3.527.894 kWh (lana mineral de vidrio) y 1.543.406 kWh (XPS) alcanzando un total estimado superior a\u00a0<\/span><b>5.000 MWh\/a\u00f1o<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0de energ\u00eda verde, que equivale a la energ\u00eda necesaria para abastecer a unos 1.500 hogares espa\u00f1oles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Gracias a esta producci\u00f3n, URSA evitar\u00e1 la emisi\u00f3n aproximada de\u00a0<\/span><b>1.100 toneladas de CO\u2082 al a\u00f1o<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, contribuyendo de manera directa a la descarbonizaci\u00f3n del sector industrial. Esta inversi\u00f3n se alinea con los objetivos marcados en la\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.etexgroup.com\/es-es\/sostenibilidad\/nuestro-enfoque\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><b>Hoja de Ruta de Sostenibilidad 2030 del Grupo Etex<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, que busca reducir de forma significativa la huella de carbono, promover la circularidad y acelerar la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica en todas sus operaciones globales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Esta estrategia contempla la reducci\u00f3n del 35% de la intensidad de las emisiones producidas por URSA hasta 2030 y disminuir, de forma notable, su huella ambiental.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Durante el acto de inauguraci\u00f3n,\u00a0<\/span><b>Ram\u00f3n Ros<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, director general de URSA Ib\u00e9rica ha afirmado que \u201choy damos un nuevo paso reforzando nuestro compromiso con la sostenibilidad y poniendo en marcha herramientas que lo hacen posible. La inauguraci\u00f3n de estas dos instalaciones fotovoltaicas en nuestras f\u00e1bricas de Espa\u00f1a nos permitir\u00e1 reducir a\u00fan m\u00e1s nuestras emisiones de carbono, en un claro ejemplo de c\u00f3mo la acci\u00f3n local provoca un impacto global.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">El acto inaugural ha contado con la presencia, miembros del equipo directivo de URSA y colaboradores clave en el proyecto.
