Hoy se inaugura en la ciudad mexicana la segunda edici\u00f3n de un evento de mayor alcance: el Smart City Expo LATAM Congress.<\/p>\n

El congreso Smart City Expo LATAM Congress, que se celebra desde hoy martes hasta el jueves 29, tiene como prop\u00f3sito el avance en materia tecnol\u00f3gica y de sostenibilidad a partir de un enfoque de participaci\u00f3n ciudadana y de equidad social. No en vano, el lema principal es \u2018Ciudadan\u00eda y gobierno para el bien com\u00fan\u2019, dirigido en ciudades inteligentes para Am\u00e9rica Latina.\u00a0<\/p>\n

En esta segunda edici\u00f3n del evento, en Puebla (M\u00e9xico) van a darse cita 180 ciudades, 120 empresas y 32 gobiernos estatales. Las previsiones hablan de que por el Centro Expositor pasar\u00e1n m\u00e1s de diez mil asistentes y 200 ponentes internacionales, que ofrecer\u00e1n medio centenar de conferencias.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Para esta edici\u00f3n, la Benem\u00e9rita Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Puebla (BUAP) participar\u00e1 en el congreso con tres temas: investigaci\u00f3n universitaria para la innovaci\u00f3n, movilidad y retos de la gesti\u00f3n contempor\u00e1nea, as\u00ed como potencial de ciudades inteligentes, inform\u00f3 el rector de la instituci\u00f3n educativa.<\/p>\n

Carlos Montiel, presidente del Consejo Empresarial, reiter\u00f3 el compromiso que tiene el organismo con el desarrollo y la aplicaci\u00f3n de nuevas tecnolog\u00edas, esto con el fin de explotar todo el potencial de M\u00e9xico y Latinoam\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n

180 ciudades, 50 conferencias, 120 empresas y 32 gobiernos estatales<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Entre los ponentes destacados de este a\u00f1o estar\u00e1n, adem\u00e1s del gobernador Antonio Gali Fayad, el ex presidente espa\u00f1ol Jos\u00e9 Luis Rodr\u00edguez Zapatero, Andreu Ve\u00e1, presidente de Internet Society Espa\u00f1a, y An\u00edbal Gav\u00edria, ex alcalde de Medell\u00edn (Colombia).<\/p>\n

En el congreso se tratar\u00e1n temas tales como territorios sustentables, sociedad participativa e igualitaria, emprendimiento digital, desarrollo econ\u00f3mico, ordenaci\u00f3n territorial, movilidad y tecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Una de las caracter\u00edsticas del evento es el uso que le da a las Tecnolog\u00edas de la Informacion y de la Comunicaci\u00f3n (TIC) para mejorar los servicios gubernamentales en capacitaci\u00f3n, seguridad y competitividad, para comprometer a sus mandatarios a encaminar a sus gobiernos a un futuro eficaz.<\/p>\n
