Junto a Cambium Networks, la iniciativa cuenta con el apoyo de los principales proveedores de servicios de Internet inal\u00e1mbrico WIPS, mayoristas, distribuidores, fabricantes, operadores, CCAA, diputaciones, municipios, etc.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa Espa\u00f1a vaciada est\u00e1 estrechamente asociada a la Espa\u00f1a desconectada -comenta <strong>Javier G\u00f3mez<\/strong>, director de la Regi\u00f3n Iberia y Mediterr\u00e1neo de Cambium Networks- y en la medida que extendamos la conectividad y el <a href=\"espana-despunta-en-internet-pero-falla-en-integracion-tecnologia-digital&amp;catid=29&amp;lang=es-ES\">acceso a Internet <\/a>ayudaremos a <strong>cohesionar y estructurar el territorio y la poblaci\u00f3n<\/strong> creando nuevas oportunidades de desarrollo en estas zonas\u201d<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto coincide en el tiempo con dos grandes iniciativas de la <strong>Uni\u00f3n Europea<\/strong>. La primera, enmarcada en la <strong>Agenda Digital Europea<\/strong>, establece para <strong>2020<\/strong> la obligatoriedad de que todos los ciudadanos europeos, vivan donde vivan, deben tener un acceso a Internet de calidad Internet: <strong>el 50% de la poblaci\u00f3n<\/strong> opte por un acceso a un ancho de banda m\u00ednimo de 100 Mb y el 100% un m\u00ednimo de 30Mb.<\/p>\n<p>La segunda es <strong>WiFI4EU<\/strong>, que tambi\u00e9n para <a href=\"aprobado-plan-estrategico-operativo-red-es-2017-2020&amp;catid=31&amp;lang=es-ES\">2020 <\/a>contempla el acceso universal a un Internet de calidad en todos los espacios p\u00fablicos de la Uni\u00f3n europea. \u201cGracias a WiFi4EU, en los \u00faltimos seis meses cerca de <strong>750 ayuntamientos espa\u00f1oles<\/strong> se han beneficiado de ayudas europeas a fondo perdido de 15.000 euros cada uno\u201d, se\u00f1ala G\u00f3mez.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el director de la <strong>Regi\u00f3n Iberia y Mediterr\u00e1neo<\/strong> de Cambium Networks, \u201cla tecnolog\u00eda inal\u00e1mbrica, especialmente la fibra a\u00e9rea, hacen viables todos estos proyectos ya que permiten un despliegue <strong>acceso acelerado de la red<\/strong>, en pocos d\u00edas, con unos costes muy reducidos, uniendo en un mismo objetivo a proveedores de infraestructura de acceso, integradores y operadores\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Javier G\u00f3mez recuerda que el acceso a Internet es una de las grandes demandas de los habitantes de esta <strong>Espa\u00f1a Vaciada<\/strong> y afirma que \u201cel problema tiene una f\u00e1cil soluci\u00f3n, destinando much\u00edsimos menos recursos de los necesarios para ampliar una autov\u00eda o crear una nueva conexi\u00f3n de AVE. Hoy <strong>podemos crear autopistas de comunicaci\u00f3n por muy poco dinero<\/strong> y muchos habitantes de estas zonas prefieren tener Internet a tener AVE\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>TAMBI\u00c9N EN EDUCACI\u00d3N<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Recientemente <strong>Cambium Networks<\/strong> puso en marcha un plan para el impulso de soluciones de conectividad avanzada en el sector educativo espa\u00f1ol para impulsar el <strong>despliegue e integraci\u00f3n de las comunicaciones<\/strong> en todos los recintos y edificios de una escuela, colegio, facultad o Campus universitario, sin necesidad de realizar complejos y costos cableados.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl objetivo -se\u00f1ala Javier G\u00f3mez- es <strong>ofrecer soluciones WIFI<\/strong> de altas prestaciones y alta densidad y diferentes arquitecturas y un sistema de gesti\u00f3n para unificar las comunicaciones entre diferentes edificios, asegurando a la comunidad educativa un <strong>ancho de banda de m\u00e1xima calidad<\/strong> en cualquier lugar del centro\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdem\u00e1s -a\u00f1ade-, podemos desplegar estas infraestructuras en cualquier punto de la geograf\u00eda espa\u00f1ola gracias a la <strong>flexibilidad, potencia y costes reducidos de la fibra a\u00e9rea<\/strong> hoy tremendamente potente, eliminado una brecha digital que sigue existiendo y que genera desigualdades y discriminaci\u00f3n entre los estudiantes\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La multinacional Cambium Networks, especializada en soluciones avanzadas de conectividad inal\u00e1mbrica, ha puesto en marcha el proyecto Conectar la Espa\u00f1a Vaciada cuyo objetivo es impulsar diferentes iniciativas p\u00fablico\/privadas para hacer realidad, a corto plazo, una Espa\u00f1a 100 por 100 conectada.
