NUOVA SESAC, holding empresarial de origen valenciano, reorganiza su estructura y crea su divisi\u00f3n para la gesti\u00f3n integral de biorresiduos<\/h3>\n

El holding valenciano NUOVA SESAC ha dado un paso m\u00e1s dentro de su modelo empresarial guiado por la sostenibilidad social, econ\u00f3mica y medioambiental constituyendo SELEV BIOGROUP, un nuevo grupo de empresas especializadas en la sostenibilidad de los biorresiduos y en econom\u00eda circular, que en su conjunto han logrado una facturaci\u00f3n superior a los 128 millones de euros en el ejercicio 2019, un 18% m\u00e1s que en el a\u00f1o anterior. <\/p>\n

En palabras del CEO, Miguel Cases Monterde, \u201ccon este nuevo grupo queremos aportar a las empresas una nueva manera de demostrar su compromiso ambiental y su RSE. Soluciones para una vida sostenible<\/h3>\n

SELEV BIOGROUP ofrece soluciones integrales y avanzadas para la regeneraci\u00f3n de los biorresiduos. Un modelo basado en las 3R\u00b4s (Reducir, Reutilizar y Reciclar), aport\u00e1ndoles una segunda vida \u00fatil y generando nuevas oportunidades de negocio. \u201cRecogemos, transportamos, separamos, e incorporamos nuevamente los biorresiduos en el ciclo econ\u00f3mico aportando valor a\u00f1adido\u201d<\/em>, a\u00f1ade su CEO.<\/p>\n

Por ejemplo, las empresas del grupo gestionan de forma global los residuos org\u00e1nicos que se generan la industria agroalimentaria, en supermercados, en el canal HORECA, e incluso en las comunidades de vecinos y en los propios domicilios. Se tratan cada uno de estos biorres\u00edduos en nuestras plantas para darles un nuevo valor y convertirlos en materias primas para piensos que tienen como destino la alimentaci\u00f3n animal, energ\u00edas renovables (UCO para biodi\u00e9sel, biocombustibles o biomasa), Biog\u00e1s o productos para agricultura (fertilizantes), entre otros.<\/p>\n

Ahorro de emisiones de CO2 a la atm\u00f3sfera<\/h3>\n

Las actividades de SELEV BIOGROUP contribuyen a reducir la huella de carbono que los biorresiduos podr\u00edan generar sobre el clima de no ser convenientemente tratados.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvitamos incinerar biorresiduos, que supondr\u00eda utilizar el doble de energ\u00eda, as\u00ed como enterrarlos, que significar\u00eda expulsar doble cantidad de metano, que es incluso 21 veces m\u00e1s perjudicial que el CO2\u201d<\/em>, a\u00f1ade su CEO.<\/p>\n

En concreto, el volumen de operaciones actuales de SELEV BIOGROUP permiten un ahorro de emisiones a la atm\u00f3sfera de 320.000 toneladas de CO2 al a\u00f1o. \u201cEstimamos que en dos a\u00f1os podamos estar hablando de una cifra cercana a las 400.000 toneladas, ya que estamos recibiendo mucho inter\u00e9s por parte de las empresas para implantar nuestro nuevo modelo de gesti\u00f3n de biorresiduos y de econom\u00eda circular\u201d<\/em>, concluye Miguel Cases.<\/p>\n
