The Smart City Journal has started the year breaking every audience record and confirming the strong growth achieved throughout 2025.

According to GoAccess, the California-based global analytics auditor, our website registered 1,652,960 clicks — almost 150,000 more than in December, representing an impressive 66% increase. In terms of unique visitors, we grew from 178,726 in September to 299,786 in January, nearly 60% higher, with the upward trend accelerating day by day.

If the growth in GoAccess has been remarkable, Google Analytics has delivered equally outstanding results. After already recording a 69.5% increase in visits and a 69.9% rise in unique users in December, January showed an additional 73% growth compared to the previous month and a 66% increase in unique visitors over December.
