It’s a pleasure to meet you! This is Incheon Metropolitan City Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok.

There’s no such thing as too much ‘communication’. People say that a policy unknown to the people is the same as not doing anything at all. Like so, we can achieve a ‘people-centric’ city administration only through communication and cooperation between private and public sectors.

Incheon intends to communicate with even more citizens using online platforms that transcend physical limitations for time and space. That means we need plenty of participation and attention from you. Please visit us often, and put forward various opinions.

My beloved citizens of Incheon!

In 2017, Incheon will focus on raising the ‘happiness index’ for our citizens. The objectives our city has been pursuing include goals such as ‘fiscal prudence’, ‘tangible results for current projects’, and ‘recreating Incheon’s value’ aims to make ‘a new Incheon where people are happy’.

The 6th democratically elected government of Incheon has prepared the foundation for Incheon Metropolitan City. We’ve prepared a slow burning stove that keeps warm for a long time. Now, the city government will use administrative policies that can light a fire in that stove and warm your homes.

We’ll make an Incheon full of happiness. I ask for you to look forward and support our city.
