Washing your hands—it’s not rocket science.

Well maybe not, but it most certainly is a science. In this episode of "Preview of Tomorrow," Max Simonovsky, Founder and CEO of Soapy Care, stresses the importance of effective handwashing as a way to mitigate the spread of infectious disease in densely populated cities. Soapy Care provides a solution to inefficient hand washing through the CleanMachine, a smart sink that dispenses optimal amounts of both soap and water, while it projects visual images displaying the correct handwashing technique.

It’s Electric!

This episode of “Preview of Tomorrow” features Pablo Vidarte, founder and CEO of Bioo, a revolutionary startup based out of Barcelona that generates electricity from plants. Bioo is able to harness the energy produced by plants as they pick up on frequency changes around them and use this as a biological switch to turn on light, sound and even videos. Bioo can also obtain energy from naturally found microorganisms in soil, without adversely affecting its surroundings, providing hope for a greener future.

EVA: Way more than a pretty name


This episode of "Preview of Tomorrow" features Isabelle Nacke, Business Development and Customer Success Manager at EVA, a Germany-based company that is building out the global infrastructure for drones.

EVA provides an integrated solution for drone immobility through their agnostic drone charging stations and effective sky road management to ensure each drone has a safe flight. Isabelle challenges the societal fears associated with drones by highlighting some of the benefits they provide, such as reducing vehicle-based GHG and carbon emissions, as well as delivering sizable healthcare and disaster relief packages.
