During the 2024 fiscal year, PortMiami welcomed a record-breaking 8,233,056 cruise passengers, representing a 12.79% increase compared to the previous year. This achievement highlights the growing preference among travelers to embark from this port, renowned for its world-class infrastructure and strategic location.

On February 9, 2025, PortMiami set another benchmark by hosting ten cruise ships simultaneously, accommodating approximately 68,000 passengers in a single day. This event marked a historic moment for the port and underscored its ability to manage large-scale operations with efficiency and safety.

Innovation and sustainability are at the core of PortMiami’s strategic vision. In June 2024, the port implemented a shore power system, enabling cruise ships to connect to the local electrical grid while docked.
